From a Ukrainian founder community to a global event operator.
TechEmbassy was founded by Volodymyr Demianenko, a technology entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in startups and the global tech industry. The story began in Canada with events created to support Ukrainian founders. These events brought together international founders, investors, and technology leaders while giving additional visibility to startups with Ukrainian roots, helping them connect with investors and enter global markets. As the initiative expanded internationally, it evolved into the nonprofit organization UAtech.
That mission continues today. Every season, UAtech organizes a global series of UAtech Venture Night events alongside the world's leading technology conferences. More than ten events are held each year, welcoming founders from around the world while maintaining dedicated opportunities and special awards for Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Through these events, UAtech continues to help Ukrainian founders become more visible, build international connections, and integrate into the global innovation ecosystem.
Over time, this experience became the foundation for TechEmbassy. Today, UAtech Venture Night is one of several event tracks within the company, while TechEmbassy produces industry-focused pitch competitions and innovation events across multiple sectors. We currently operate in FinTech, Blockchain & Digital Assets, Fashion & Luxury Tech, RevOps & MarTech, and Social Impact, while expanding into Defense Tech and Legal Tech. TechEmbassy manages the complete event lifecycle — from conference selection and venue sourcing to startup scouting, investor engagement, audience growth, sponsorships, production, logistics, and digital event experiences.
